Teamlead / Business Process Analyst

Veendam, Hilversum
Full-time
Fixed-term

About the position

You will lead a team of approximately 5 developers and business analysts responsible for our ERP landscape and the business processes that rely on it. You will provide direction, set priorities, and promote a professional way of working while remaining closely involved in the day-to-day content and challenges.

A significant part of your role involves tackling larger business and IT challenges. These may include changes within logistics, supply chain, inventory management, purchasing, order management, or finance. Together with business stakeholders, you will map current processes, analyze bottlenecks, and translate desired changes into concrete process improvements and system solutions.

You will look beyond the ERP system itself, understanding how processes, applications, data, and integrations interact, while ensuring that changes are aligned across the broader IT landscape:
Lead, coach, and develop an ERP team of approximately five developers and analysts.
Prioritize and organize team activities and workloads.
Act as a subject matter expert and sparring partner for both the team and business stakeholders.
Analyze and improve end-to-end business processes.
Independently lead larger improvement projects within logistics, supply chain, and other operational domains.
Translate business requirements into process designs, functional requirements, and system solutions.
Safeguard the functional and technical design of the ERP landscape.
Advise on the configuration and further development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Oversee the integration landscape and ensure consistency between ERP and surrounding systems.
Work with and provide direction to our integration layer based on Alumio
Collaborate with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
Ensure solutions not only work technically but also deliver scalable and effective business process improvements.

At EQOM, we are constantly evolving. Our organisation is growing, our processes are becoming increasingly international and complex, and at the same time we are professionalising our IT landscape. We are therefore looking for an ERP Team Lead / Business Process Analyst within our IT department: an experienced professional who combines leadership with hands-on work on our key business processes and systems.

About you

You are someone who takes ownership and enjoys both leading and contributing. While you do not need to build every solution yourself, you want to understand how things work from a technical perspective.

You can easily switch between strategic decision-making, process design, and operational details. When a business process is not performing effectively, you look beyond the system itself and consider the entire chain: organization, processes, data, integrations, and applications.

You are analytical and structured, yet pragmatic. You know when a solution is good enough to move forward and when a more fundamental redesign is required.

What does this job offer you?

We are looking for someone who is comfortable at the intersection of business processes, ERP technology, and leadership. You are able to discuss technical details with developers while also confidently analyzing business processes with supply chain managers, finance stakeholders, and other business leaders.

Ideally, you have:
Bachelor's or Master's level working and thinking ability.
Willing to work regularly from our office in Veendam to collaborate closely with your team.
Extensive experience with ERP systems in a complex organizational environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or comparable enterprise ERP solutions.
Experience as a Business Process Analyst, Business Analyst, ERP Lead, Product Owner ERP, or a similar role.
Experience analyzing and optimizing end-to-end business processes.
Knowledge of processes within supply chain, logistics, procurement, inventory management, order management, and/or finance
Sufficient technical expertise to understand architecture, interfaces, data flows, and integrations, and to participate in technical decision-making.
Experience with integration platforms or middleware; experience with Alumio is considered a plus.
Experience leading or mentoring a small IT team.
Experience in projects where business processes and IT evolve together.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to align different interests.

Are you ready?

A one-year contract for 40 hours per week, with the possibility to discuss and agree on specifics.
    A competitive salary.
Flexible working hours and the option to work in a hybrid setting (home and office).
    Travel expense reimbursement.
    Home office allowance.
    25 vacation days based on a full-time (40-hour) workweek.
    8% holiday allowance.
The option to purchase additional vacation days.
Pension scheme through the Dutch Retail Pension Fund (Pensioenfonds Detailhandel).
A large company lunch every Friday.
Free bootcamp sessions twice a week, discounts on gym memberships through Bedrijfsfitness Nederland, and access to our own in-house gym.
A vibrant social calendar organized by our activities committee, including a variety of fun activities and larger events such as the EQOM Summer Party and Oktoberfest.
Plenty of opportunities for personal development and career growth.
